Genji Hosono - Senior Partner
Mr Hosono has joined Ucap Hong Kong Asset Management Ltd after having spent nearly a decade with Pictet & Cie (Europe) S.A. Hong Kong. His position in Pictet was as Managing Director/Senior Private Banker for Japanese market. Overall he has more than 25 years of experience in banking industry with prime focus on wealth management/private banking for Japanese wealthy individuals and families across locations like Hong Kong, Switzerland and Japan.
After Graduating from Keio University in Tokyo, he started his career as Equity Trader with UBS, Japan. He then went on to spend 14 years with private banking division, Credit Suisse AG in Japan, Switzerland and Hong Kong with his last responsibility as Head of Japan Market based in Hong Kong. As a seasoned banker, he has been providing high net worth clients with cross-border family wealth succession solutions and tailor-made financing schemes along with global investment management.
Narayan P. Mulchandani - Senior Partner
Mr. Mulchandani has been involved in the financial markets for over 20 years, providing dealing and advising in securities and futures contracts. He has been primarily involved in research sales of the Indian Equities market and has also covered other South Asian and South East Asian equity Markets.
Prior to joining UCAP HK, Narayan spent 8 years at Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited (Hong Kong) after which he successfully set up Anand Rathi Financial Services HK Office where he served as a Responsible Officer. Narayan then advanced his career at other leading institutions including Standard Chartered Securities HK & Phillip Securities HK.
Narayan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Cornell University, USA.
Masahiro Yoshikawa - Senior Partner
Mr Yoshikawa has 30 years of experience in financial industry. Prior to joining Ucap Hong Kong Asset Management Ltd, he was a senior private banker for over 16 years with Credit Agricole (Suisse) S.A. Hong Kong Branch. He also spent 2 years with Societe Generale Hong Kong.
Mr Yoshikawa also spent almost 15 years in Yamaichi group post his university graduation. He was a Fund Manager in Yamaichi Capital Management (Tokyo) managing Japanese Equity portfolio and in charge of overseas investors and HNW clients in 1986 and went onto become Managing Director of Yamaichi Capital Management (Hong Kong) from 1994 - 1998.
Over his 30 years of experience in the financial industry he has acquired extensive expertise in asset management and has a rich experience in investing into Asia Equities.
Tae Gyoon Lee - Senior Partner
Mr Lee has over 20 years of experience in financial industry. Prior to joining Ucap, he was a senior private banker for over 13 years with BNP and Pictet for 2 years as the Korean market head.
Mr Lee started his career at a local investment bank, which is now known as KB Bank, in Seoul, Korea. He worked on loan, bond, equity and FX investments at KB Bank, Asian Development Bank (Manila) and Deutsche Bank (Seoul). After that, he moved to London to study his Master degree at London Business School under the UK national scholarship. After receiving his Masters at LBS, he came to HK in 2001 and has lived in HK since then.
With over 20 years of experience in financial industry he has acquired extensive expertise in wealth management and has strong knowledge in financial products trading.
Mr Lee was born and raised in South Korea and attended Yonsei University. He served his military duty as an officer at the border between North and South Korea.
Ananda Bhaumik - Senior Partner
Mr Ananda Bhaumik has joined us at Ucap Hong Kong Asset Management Limited. Ananda has over four decades of experience in banking and finance, half of which has been in the area of wealth management and investments.
He started his career as management trainee with the State Bank of India in India but since 1981 has worked with various institutions in Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Prior to joining UCAP, Ananda was a Senior Private Banker / Managing Director with Pictet & Cie, HK Branch.
Ananda holds a First Class Honours Degree in Chemistry with Physics and Math as subsidiaries. He is also a Charter holder of the CMT Association (CMT), a Chartered Financial Technician (CFTe / IFTA) and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP / AFP). His current interests include philanthropy as a tool for facilitating inter-generational wealth transfer, use of blockchain technology in the digitisation of trade finance workflows and democratisation of wealth management through tokenisation.
Josephine Tsang - Senior Partner
Josephine has over 20 years experiences in banking industry. She started her career with The Ka Wah Bank and grew onto building a very successful career across Banks like Sarasin Rabo Investment Management Ltd and Bank of Singapore. Prior to joining UCAP, she was an Executive Director in Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd, Hong Kong Branch. She has a strong relationship development skills and extensive experience in providing proactive investments solutions.
She holds a degree of Master of Business Administration in Asia International Open University.
